SOCIAL MEDIA ON THE SAND BEACHES MOMS DAY 2

OH MY! Today I was overwhelmed with swag, learning, and relaxing. Close your eyes and imagine heaven. I believe that Beaches Resort in Turks and Caicos is as close to heaven as you can get. For me clear blue skies, blue-green water as far as the eye can see, white sandy beaches, and amazing food greet you when you step on a Beaches Resort. I know I mentioned that Beaches Resorts are all-inclusive, but I will mention it again. This resort is all inclusive all food is included, all drink is included, water activities, evening activities, and more. Today was Day 2 of the Social Media of the Sand Conference, and this is definitely a conference you want to attend. To read my Recap of Day One, CLICK HERE!

Social Media on the Sand at Beaches Turks and Caicos – Day 2

We started the day at Schooner’s for breakfast. We sat on the veranda that overlooks the ocean. It was a beautiful view. Breakfast was gluten-free french toast with Nutella syrup, and steak and eggs. My daughter ordered the smoked salmon over avocado on gluten-free toast – YUMMY!

By the way, have I mentioned the incredible staff at Beaches? They all seem to love their jobs, are happy, enthusiastic, and go out of their way to make sure you find your destination. The employees don’t just point you in the direction you need to go. They either get you a ride on a golf cart or walk you to your destination. That service with a smile is what gives Beaches a A+++++ rating in my book.

After breakfast, we had a fun gathering swag. Beaches Moms were treated to a bungalow filled with swag. We were each given a bag and a popsicle card that listed all the sponsors. As we walked around the room each sponsor gave us unique items. My daughter now is convinced I am the cool mom on the block! The swag bungalow is an entire blog post by itself!

Then, we all headed out for an interactive experience. I was assigned the Sushi Rolling under the direction of Chef Ken. My 15 year old son, Marcus, loves everything about Japanese culture, and I thought I would score even more cool mom points by learning the art of making sushi rolls. This activity was so much fun, and then we ate our creations!

Of course, a conference wouldn’t be fun at a Beaches Resort without free time. I got to hang with my daughter and her friends at Bella Napoli, eat pizza, and then spend time on the beautiful beach sipping cocktails. Dinner was at the roof-top Sky restaurant in the Key West Village. It was truly a beautiful experience with scrumptious food.

Finally we ended our day with a Mad Hatter party filled with crazy hats, delectable desserts, dancing, costume style show, and fun for the entire family! At this point, I am exhausted, but it is a great feeling in paradise. Day 3 is a full conference day and I expect more of the same awesomeness as today.
