Walt Disney World announces the Spring 2017 Youth Education Series – Student Seminars formerly known as Homeschool Days. The homeschool event will be on April 11, 2017, and highlights the DisneyNature movie Born in China. The event will take place in Epcot.

 

Born in China tells the story of Pandas, golden monkeys, and snow leopards, and was filmed on location in China. Born in China releases in theaters on Earth Day, April 21, 2017.

Children and their families will hear about the making of this film, and how Disney is working to help save the Siberian Crane and other species from endangerment.

I was treated to an advance screening of this film during Disney’s Social Media Moms Celebration on February 9, 2017, and will be sharing a review and materials to go along with this movie.

At this time, there are no future Disney Homeschool Days scheduled. I will be sure to update you on any future dates.
