Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup light olive oil (or other light flavored oil
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 2-3 bottles anise extract 2 oz bottles
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups King Arthur Gluten-Free All Purpose Flour

Instructions
 

  • Add sugar and oil to a large bowl or pitcher. Mix until blended.
  • Mix in eggs one at a time.
  • Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  • Mix baking powder into liquid mixture.
  • Mix anise extract into liquid. You may be tempted to use a mixer. Do not.
  • Add flour, one cup at a time. Mix between cups. Batter should be thick,
