Spring Rainbows – St. Patrick\u2019s Day – The Story of Noah and the Ark. All of these are excellent times for teaching with rainbows and the colors of the rainbow. Today we are going to make a rainbow disc. This is a fun activity to teach the color wheel and how all the colors together equals white.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am not going to give you a long drawn out history of my grandma\u2019s sister who loved rainbows, but rather, I am just going to teach you this great science and art lesson that kids love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pencil<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruler<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cup or jar with 3-4\u201d opening<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

White paper plate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crayons and markers in the following colors: Primary – Red, Yellow, Blue and Secondary – Green, Orange, Purple<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
