RIDES AND ATTRACTIONS IN WALT DISNEY WORLD AND DISNEYLAND, CA

Walt Disney World Resort in Florida has several attractions based on Fantasia. Fantasia Gardens offers two 18-hole miniature golf courses with plenty of photo opportunities themed around Fantasia.

Additionally, the Fantasmic Show at Hollywood Studios is a nighttime laser light and water show with fireworks featuring Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Another iconic item used to be at Hollywood Studios. We loved Mickey’s Sorcerer’s Hat that had been at the end of Hollywood Boulevard since 2001 and was removed in early 2015.

Mickey’s Philharmagic, at the Magic Kingdom, is a 4-D film featuring Mickey and Donald with scenes from movies such as Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin. One of the film clips has Mickey as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

APPENDIX G – FIELD TRIP SUGGESTIONS

Music at the Park

Ballet

Symphony

Consider seeing a production of The Nutcracker at Christmastime.

Art Museum

Check with your local art museum, symphony or children’s science center and see if they have an usher program. Can your teen volunteer to help at the Symphony or Art Museum? This would be an excellent opportunity?

The Walt Disney Family Museum has a Fantasia Music Program.
