Redesigning Your Outdoor Space for Your Current Lifestyle

Do you like to spend time outside with your family? We usually have several outdoor barbecues and even a few bonfires, and we have a wonderful open deck, but we don’t use it nearly as often as we should. Part of the problem is the weather in Ohio for a lot of the months of the year. The other problem is when it is sunny, my deck is “too bright” to use. We have been contemplating reworking things to make the deck work for our current lifestyle. Here are some questions to ask if you are redesigning your outdoor space?

Questions to Ask Before Redesigning Your Outdoor Space

What Are You Hoping to Change About Your Current Outdoor Space?

Are you not utilizing the space you currently have? Are you looking to make a change to update an older space? Are you wanting to invite friends over more often?

We built our deck 18 years ago. Our family dynamic was much different at the time. Additionally, a deck was a common outdoor space for that era. But today’s spaces often include covered patios, all-weather furniture, sound systems, ceiling fans, outdoor heaters, and even outdoor all-weather televisions.

Are you doing the work yourself or hiring a professional?

If you are doing the work yourself, you need to carefully plan and research. Professionals can give you ideas you haven’t thought of and often times have an eye for looking at what you have an incorporating some of the current design to give it an updated feel. Putting a roof over a deck, adding some newly updated furniture and incorporating new elements such as an outdoor kitchen and an outdoor television can make your old space more functional for your lifestyle.

What items are “Must-Haves”?

Make a list of the Must-Haves. We know we want a covered area, and while having an “outdoor kitchen” would be nice, our indoor kitchen is directly connected to the area that we are redesigning. Instead of spending money on the kitchen, we can add items that we make our outdoor space more functional.

How Does the Wind Blow?

Consider Mother Nature. We are planning to utilize a wall to mount a SunbriteTV Veranda. The Veranda Series of SunBriteTVs are designed specifically for outdoor use. They are engineered to survive just about any climate in North America, resisting the harsh effects of rain, snow, dust, insects, and extreme temperatures.

However, while we are sitting outdoors watching television, we need to consider Mother Nature. Which way does the wind and rain blow?

Redesigning Your Outdoor Space with a Veranda Series SunBrite TV from Best Buy

Veranda comes standard with a direct-lit 4K UHD screen with HDR, which is up to 50% brighter than indoor TVs for improved viewing in brighter outdoor environments. It’s more durable, safer, and a better experience than using an indoor TV outdoors.

But I still need to consider how the sunsets. I do not want the sun shining in my eyes while I am outdoors.

Designing an Outdoor Living Space is fun and exciting. Knowing that we can be outdoors and enjoying life and have the entire family outside will make our outdoor space more enjoyable.

Our family hosts themed movie nights and being able to host them outdoors will be even more exciting. You might imagine your space hosting a big game. However you choose to utilize your space, the Veranda Series of SunBriteTVs is ready to make your favorite outdoor space a real destination.

Features of the Veranda Series of SunBriteTVs include:

  • Weatherproof TV built for full-shade outdoor living areas
  • Powder-coated rust-proof aluminum exterior protects internal components from rain, snow, dust, insects, humidity, and salt air.
  • Up to 50% brighter than indoor TVs for improved viewing in brighter outdoor environments.
  • 4K UHD with HDR
  • Large weatherproof media bay makes cable connections easy. It has plenty of storage room for many popular media players, and thick gaskets seal out moisture and the elements
  • Available in 43”, 55”, 65” and 75” sizes

Imagine the fun your family will have watching TV outside on your newly redesigned outdoor space!
